The story
A Tom Ford editorial
during Paris Fashion Week.
As a Paris Fashion Week photographer, I photographed a three-day editorial shoot for Tom Ford, following a couple through two of the city’s most distinctive hotels. Every outfit in this story is Tom Ford.
The first two days unfolded at The Peninsula Paris, with access to suites, corridors and rooftop spaces. On the third day, we moved to the Ritz Paris and Place Vendôme. Across those settings, the images shift between deliberately composed fashion portraits and the small, unplanned gestures that make a couple’s story their own.
01 / Day one · The Peninsula Paris
Tom Ford at The Peninsula Paris:
suites & corridors.
At The Peninsula Paris, the hotel became part of the visual language: long corridors, reflective surfaces, quiet suites and the brief transition from one room to the next. The first day brought a green suede jacket, black-and-white silhouettes and portraits shaped around the lines of the Tom Ford wardrobe.
I gave the posed images a clear structure, then left room for movement and closeness. Direct flash makes the textures tangible; a glance or a smile changes the mood.

02 / Day two · The Peninsula Paris
Rooftop fashion portraits
at The Peninsula Paris.
For the second day, we worked in one of The Peninsula’s largest suites and across its rooftop spaces, with views of both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. The open sky gave the portraits a different scale: sharper silhouettes, city rooftops and a darker Tom Ford wardrobe.
Back inside, leather, an armchair and direct flash set the tone for a more deliberate fashion sequence. The stillness of a pose sits alongside the energy of a moving coat and the warmth of an unguarded moment together.

03 / Day three · Ritz Paris & Place Vendôme
Tom Ford at Ritz Paris
& Place Vendôme.
On the third day, we had the chance to photograph at the Ritz Paris and continue the editorial series on Place Vendôme. The mood changed again: denim, leather, a textured jacket and a more relaxed rhythm, still dressed entirely in Tom Ford.
The square gave us space to work with distance and architecture. We alternated full-length poses, details of the clothes and walking images, bringing the three-day story back to the couple moving through Paris together.

Looking for a Paris
Fashion Week photographer?
If you are looking for a photographer for an editorial shoot during Paris Fashion Week, get in touch with your dates, the people to be photographed, the wardrobe and the locations you have in mind. This three-day Tom Ford story shows how I combine considered fashion direction, clothing details and more spontaneous moments.
Editorial direction, with room for movement
My approach starts with silhouette, light and composition. Clear direction gives a portrait structure; movement and the relationship between the people in front of me give it character. A quiet suite, a corridor or a Paris rooftop can each bring a different mood to the same editorial story.
